历史沿革[edit]
村民原为散居三都澳的连家船民。1958年设立大队，1966年迁回村址，1984年改设村委会。[2]
经济[edit]
村民以渔业为主，兼营内海捕捞、养殖和育黄鱼苗，产海带、紫菜；种植水稻和甘薯，果树有枇杷、柑桔。船只130多条。耕地250亩，林地220亩，滩涂800亩。[2]
文化[edit]
村内有村委楼、医疗站2所和天主教堂1座。1982年建成避风港，成丁字形，村前设有斜坡式防浪堤。[2]
