莒溪村位于洋中镇西北部，处宁古线北侧，距镇中心约10公里，村子平均海拔约700米。村名经过数次演变，原称吕溪，因村中祖厅旁的两口井形似“吕”字而得名。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村中祖厅旁有上下两口井，形状像“吕”字。村子原先无溪流，后人开渠引水成溪，便取名吕溪，此后演变为莒溪。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村子与前路、山阜、北洋三个行政村相邻。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年村里组建生产大队，1984年改设村民委员会。[1]
