邑保村属老区村，位于洋中镇东北约9公里处。村落形似城堡，村名因此而来。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村落的格局形似城堡，故以此为名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年村里组建生产大队，1984年改设村民委员会，村委会设在邑堡村。村辖邑堡、长湾、门口、大村、山都里五个自然村。[1]

文化遗存[edit]

村后门山上有南方红豆杉四棵，树龄在二百六十年以上；另有青冈、竹柏各一棵，均有一百五十年左右。村中有大厅一座。[1]
