村子处在田洋中间，故名洋中。镇名取义相同。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年村里组建生产大队，1984年改设村民委员会。村辖一个自然村。[1]

历史名人[edit]

村中历史名人以北宋人物周导为代表，据村情简介，周导字宗政，宋乾德五年（967年）任中书右相、金紫光禄大夫。[2]
