地名由来[edit]
村子周围都是田地，故称田地。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村子的先祖由古田县璋地迁来。据族谱记载，南宋时期先祖迁入田地开荒建村、修建祠堂，已有八百多年历史。原属宝岩村委会，1992年5月另立村民委员会。[1][2]
革命历史[edit]
革命战争时期，村中有五十多名村民参加红军。[1]
人物[edit]
李德兴在革命胜利后曾任宁德县县长，任职时间为1957年至1959年。[2]
