山阜村属老区村，位于洋中镇西部，周围群山环绕。村名取自村子所在的山地，地势高而无石，土层深厚。[1]

山高而无石，土壤殷厚，故称山阜。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年村里组建生产大队，1984年改设村民委员会。村辖十二个自然村。[1]
文化遗存[edit]
村内古建筑有大厅、祠堂、宫各两座，另有一座桥。村中古树较多，有桃叶石楠、杉木、青钩栲、柳杉和南方红豆杉，树龄均超过一百年。[2]
