留田村属老区村，位于洋中镇西北部，在天山西南麓，距镇区约14公里。村名早年为兰田，后去掉兰字而定为留田。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子原名兰田，因人口不兴旺，后去掉“兰”字，留下“田”字作村名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年村里组建生产大队，1984年改设村民委员会。村辖七个自然村。[1]

文化遗存[edit]

村内有大厅一座，始建于1860年；有祠堂一座，始建于1877年；另有宫一座。村中还生长着柳杉、楠木、马尾松和青冈栎等古树。[1]
