陈洞村位于洋中镇北部，在镇区以北约1公里处，鞠峰山东南麓。村名来自一个与陈姓祖先和藤洞有关的传说，早年又名陈家洞村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
相传陈姓祖先在此放牧，一头母牛钻进藤洞后生下了牛犊，此后祖先迁居这里，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村子早年归洋中村管辖，1998年8月才单独设立村民委员会，村委会驻陈洞村。村辖一个自然村，即陈洞。[1]
文化遗存[edit]
村中生长着两棵楠木和一棵桃叶石楠，另有大厅、祠堂、宫等古建筑各一座。[1]
