蕉城区西部的洋中镇，省道宁古线穿境而过，距市区约20公里。镇域属七都溪流域上游，镇区海拔约340米。全镇辖34个行政村，是蕉城西部的政治、经济、文化和交通中心。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

宋元时，洋中归宁德县青田乡管辖；明代则划入青田乡下的二十二、二十三、二十五都。1934年，洋中划为宁德县五个区中的第三区，1948年改设洋中乡。[1]

新中国成立后，洋中先属第四区；1955年起改称洋中区，1958年则建立人民公社，1961年又复为洋中区，1966年再改为公社。1984年10月公社撤销，设立洋中乡，1988年改设为镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

镇域总面积为168.8平方公里，森林覆盖率为62.7%，茶园约一万三千多亩。省道宁古公路贯穿全境。[2]

据百度百科，2017年洋中镇常住人口为14035人。[3]

产业与特产[edit]

经济以生态农业为核心，茶叶产业依托天山绿茶的原产地和品牌优势发展。特产有洋中香菇、嵋屿竹编器等。[2][3]

名胜古迹[edit]

洋中古镇即镇区一带的古镇，镇区周边有洋中溪、东山溪和陈洋溪三条溪流。2016年，古镇获评国家3A级旅游景区。[4]

宁德洋中水利风景区是依托水库、山潭与河流形成的景区，景区东边是三溪电站水库，西边为林坂村的溪尾水库，北边为陈洞村的龙潭瀑布，南边抵东南溪。该景区为国家级水利风景区，景点级别为国家3A级旅游景区。[5]

东山柳州祠位于东山村，始建于南宋，为纪念南宋柳州知府陈纪而建，2018年列入福建省第九批省级文物保护单位。[6]

荣誉[edit]

2016年5月，省政府认定洋中镇为第五批省级历史文化名镇名村。[1]

2019年1月，洋中镇在第七批中国历史文化名镇的公布中入选。[3]

2020年12月，省爱卫办授予洋中镇「福建省卫生乡镇」称号。[1]

2021年2月，洋中镇被评为2018至2020年度省级文明村镇社区。[1]

2026年1月，洋中镇获确定为省级乡村振兴示范乡镇，属2026年度名单。[1]
