炉田村是赤溪镇的行政村，位于镇区西南约3.4公里，赤邑公路北侧。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历：古时田中有炼铁炉，故名炉田。1958年组建大队，1984年改为村民委员会。[1]
人口民族[edit]
村辖炉田、大坂洋、茶园冈3个自然村，共13个村民小组。全村有337户，1454人；其中常驻869人，外来122人。[2]
经济[edit]
耕地1548亩，林地1825亩。农业是主业，稻谷、茶叶、茉莉花、果蔗、草莓苗都有种植，此外也有运输商贸。[2]
运输工具有面包车4部、拖拉机5部，零售商店9间，一年销售额约110万元。水果有西瓜、桃子、柑橘等，林业以山杜樱为主。[2]
文化[edit]
村内古榕树2棵，各约300年；古井2口，水质清甜，有近200年历史。[2]
1985年全县文物普查时，在村内和尚山地表发现青铜遗器。[2]
2021年11月，炉田村获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2022年10月，获福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
