大坛村是赤溪镇的行政村，位于镇区西面约7.5公里，赤邑公路北侧，海拔约160米。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村前有溪，溪中有一潭，原名大潭，后经方言读音演变为今名。[1][2]
明代建村，始迁祖为黄姓，自霍童坂前迁入。1958年组建大队，1984年改为村民委员会。村庄曾名大兰村，2020年9月22日经区政府批复更名为大坛村。[1][2]
人口民族[edit]
村辖7个村民小组，有165户、618人。常驻350人，出过大学学历的有8人。[2]
经济[edit]
耕地943亩，以农业为主，主产水果，芙蓉李、蜜柚、黑李、枇杷等果树较多。有林地2531亩，林业以松、杉为主。村中日用商店8间，年销售值约20万元。[2]
产业方面，红美人柑橘为主导产业。村先后获评「2024年度福建省“一村一品”专业村」（2024年11月）和「2024年度宁德市“一村一品”专业村」（2025年5月）。[1]
文化[edit]
村内古建筑有明代古民居4座、清代10余座，以及清初石砌城墙残迹。村边有一棵红心松木，另有300年以上榕树3棵。[2]
