历史沿革[edit]

湖头、文湖与郑厝三村早先同属一个大队（1958年前后），1964年才各自分立；文湖村1984年成为村委会。[1]

2024年1月，文湖村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]

村内有金峰寺和布泉寺两处佛寺。[1]
