洞天社区是霍童镇的居委会，位于镇中心区，与霍童村同处霍童山西北侧的镇驻地。[1][2]

社区名取自「霍童山为卅六洞天之首」的说法，北宋张君房编《云笈七签》称霍童山为第一洞天。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这里在1979年以前属霍童街道大队；1986年起称洞天居委会，2003年5月24日起又改为社区居民委员会。[1]

据蕉城区人民政府2022年12月发布的社区页，社区辖13个居民小组，共690户2347人。[2]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办将洞天社区命名为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。[1]

文化[edit]

居民多以经商、手工业为生，也从事木器、糕饼、建筑和装修等行业。霍童仁记剪刀与八仙糕是本地较为知名的产品。[1]
