屿头村是福建省宁德市蕉城区八都镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区东北侧约1.2公里，国道104线穿村而过，村落在鳌峰山脚下。[1]
地名由来[edit]
关于村名来历有两说：一说溪水冲积泥沙，地势隆起似岛屿，村子位于岛屿的头端，故称屿头；另一说村左前方有林尾半岛屿，后称兰尾港，因而得名。[1]
历史人物与古迹[edit]
村中历史上出过国子监太学生与进士，进士武痒生为其中之一。村中有古建筑灵神宫，旧时有“鳌顶笼云”等景致之说。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，屿头村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
