地名由来[edit]

当地有三片田洋，分为头、中、尾，村子位于田洋之首，故称洋头。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年组建生产大队，1984年改为村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2015年10月，洋头村入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」；2016年12月，村庄进入「第四批中国传统村落」之列；2022年10月，村庄获「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」称号；2023年12月，获「2023年度福建省森林村庄」称号。[1]
