猴盾村是福建省宁德市蕉城区八都镇下辖的畲族村，位于镇区东北约13公里，村内保留较完整的畲族民俗与文化传统。明万历元年（1573年）村民从罗源县迁入开发定居。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村名的来历有两说：一说村后山形如猴，村中原有九只猴子，“九”与“猴”方言音同，后演变为今名；另一说村后山上有九座土墩，“墩”与“盾”音近，后衍为今名。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

明万历元年（1573年）从罗源县迁入本地开发定居。1957年曾设畲族乡，1958年组建生产大队，1984年改为村委会。[1]

畲族文化[edit]

逢农历三月初三与九月初九，村中都有赛歌、比武的活动，端午节则有采茶的习俗。村民穿畲装、戴畲饰、唱畲歌，保存有畲族族谱、祖图与龙头杖等物件。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2016年12月，猴盾村被列入「第四批中国传统村落」名录；2017年11月，村庄经中央文明委批准获「第五届全国文明村镇」称号。2019年12月，猴盾村列入「第二批国家森林乡村」名单。2024年7月，猴盾村入选「2024年福建省金牌旅游村」名单。[1]
