福口村是福建省宁德市蕉城区八都镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区西北约3.5公里，宁屏路右侧，临霍童溪北岸。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村口立有福水宫，村因此得名。另一说法是此地古时称福首村，后演变为今名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年组建生产大队，1984年改为村委会。村庄在宋代是两浙提刑郑南的故居，郑氏一门出过数位进士，村中白莲寺据传是其家族读书之处。郑南的事迹见于南宋《三山志》与明代《八闽通志》。[1][2]

古迹[edit]

村中有古寺白莲寺。福水宫的建造距今已有二三百年，近年做过修葺。[2]

荣誉[edit]

福口村于2021年11月获福建省爱卫办确认为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
