小溪村位于七都镇西南部，在镇区西南13公里。村前有一条溪，村名由此而来。村中旧时世居彭姓，村名曾称彭溪[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1958年与外洋同属溪口大队，1979年分出单设小溪大队，1984年改为村委会[1]。

人口与经济[edit]

村辖西岩顶、溪仔里、陈家山、洋中、际坪和小溪共6个自然村。全村8个村民小组，576人，146户，常住300多人，大学文化以上3人[1]。

林地9425亩，耕地299亩。农业为本，稻谷、甘薯、茶林和竹笋为主产，水果有杷蕉和龙眼[1]。

因建设官仓水库，际坪、陈家山、溪口和洋中这4个自然村将被淹没[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，小溪村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年10月，福建省农业农村厅把村子认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」[1]。
