西陂村位于七都镇东南部，在镇区东南6.8公里，西陂塘堤西北侧。宁德有两湖，西侧的一湖称西陂，又名赤鉴湖，村委会设在西陂，村名由此而来[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
1980年设大队，1984年转为村委会[1]。
人口与产业[edit]
全村3个村民小组，454人，105户，大学文化以上4人。辖碑头、桥头两个自然村[1]。
村子属渔业村，以卞姓为主，以捕捞为生，同时养殖淡水鱼、南美白对虾、青蟹等[1]。
设施与荣誉[edit]
村内有村委楼1幢、天主教教堂1幢、商店3间。大部分民房为1980年政府所建的土木结构简易住房[1]。2021年11月，西陂村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」[1]。
