黄厝村是七都镇下辖的行政村，村民以黄姓聚居，村名由此而来。七都溪绕村入海，聚落较为集中[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1979年从七都大队中分出，单设大队；1984年改为村委会。村辖黄厝、塔兜两个自然村，并有三峡移民安置的长宁新村[2]。

人口与经济[edit]

村内设14个村民小组，465户、2058人，大学文化以上102人。以林、黄两姓为主，相传唐末由河南固始迁入建村[2]。耕地855亩，林地2215亩，以农业为主，产稻谷和甘薯等[2]。

村中水产有“寸金鱼”，产于七都溪，据传是贡品，被称为“皇帝鱼”[2]。

古迹与设施[edit]

村内有黄厝祠堂、后林祠堂等古建筑，另有东山宫和东山寺。镇供电所、邮电局、电视广播站等单位，以及区级无菌苗圃，都设在村内[2]。
