黄连坑村位于七都镇西南部，在镇区西南6公里，因山上产黄连草、村下有一条溪坑而得名[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
村子解放初期属三望乡淡坪大队，1966年划归七都公社牛埕大队。1979年另设黄连坑大队，1984年转为村委会[1]。
人口与产业[edit]
博雅地名网列村辖7个自然村，百度百科则作8个[1][2]。全村9个村民小组，户数115户、人口426人，大部分人口已外迁，大学文化以上3人[1]。
林地4270亩，耕地206亩。以农为主，产茶叶和毛竹；竹篾工艺是主要副业，另有养羊[1]。旧时以种菁（染料）闻名，山中野猪较多[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，此村获福建省爱卫办评定为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年10月，福建省农业农村厅将其认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」[1]。
