社区于1990年设立居民委员会。2003年5月24日这一天，居委会改组为社区居民委员会[1]。

社区设五个居民小组，博雅地名网载为260户、662人，大学以上文化者35人。居民分住官亭、大厅、贝河、黄厝、陈厝五片，以服务业和商贸业为主[1]。
