历史沿革[edit]
西陂塘围垦之前，此地为海滨村落。1958年设生产大队，1984年改设村委会。[1]
人口[edit]
全村共34个村民小组，有850户、3728人；其中常驻2200人，外来160人。本村籍大学以上文化者30人。[1][2]
经济[edit]
以水产养殖为主，主产安瑞蛏、泥蚶和鱼；兼营农业，粮食作物以水稻为主；水果有杨梅、板栗和龙眼。全村约五分之二的人在外务工。[1][2]
工业园区[edit]
东侨工业集中区的增坂园区位于本村辖区内，有多家企业在此落户。[2]
设施与人物[edit]
村中设有医疗站五所，并有一所初级小学。清同治年间，村人李邦光被选为拔贡。当代的李雪艳获得全国第十届运动会射击冠军。[1][2]
