王坑村是漳湾镇下辖的行政村，村委会驻地在镇区西南约2.8千米处，辖王坑、半山、坑里、坑尾4个自然村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村前有一条沙坑横穿而过，村名原为黄坑，后来改称王坑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年设生产大队，1984年改设村委会。[1]

人口[edit]

全村14个村民小组，有397户、1873人，其中常住1813人，外来60人。本村籍大学文化以上者32人。[1][2]

经济[edit]

以农业为主，主产稻谷和蔬菜；另有运输、烧砖瓦、养鸭和淡水鱼等副业。水果以龙眼、杨梅、荔枝为主。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中有灵鹫寺、资圣寺两座寺院，另有一座宫庙和五口古井。村内还有四百年的榕树十四棵、樟树三棵，以及一棵槐树。[1]
