鸟屿村是漳湾镇下辖的行政村，属海岛村，在镇东约8千米处，位于鸟屿山东侧。[1]

地名由来[edit]

古时此地是孤岛，林木茂密，各种鸟类在此栖息，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年设生产大队，1984年改设村委会。[1]

人口与村落[edit]

村下辖半屿、屿头两个自然村，全村8个村民小组，共363户、1372人，其中外来人口12人。本村籍大学文化以上者有58人。[1]

经济[edit]

以水产养殖为主，主产蛏。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

岛上有一座宫，另有一座有六百年历史的祠堂。村中还有百年古榕二十五棵、三百年铁树三棵。[1]

咸丰年间，村中的蒋建奇曾中武举。村中曾有一座水库，现已废弃。[1]
