南埕村是漳湾镇下辖的行政村，位于镇南约2.5千米处，村庄布局呈八卦形，居民以陈、林两姓为主。[1][2]

建村与沿革[edit]

村庄建于宋太宗端拱二年（989年）。1958年组建生产大队，1984年改设村委会。该村为老区基点村。[1]

人口[edit]

全村共65个村民小组，有1900户、9000多人，其中常住8000多人。村中外来居民有30多人，本村籍文化程度在大学以上的有160多人。[1][2]

祠堂与纪念[edit]

村中有林氏祖厅一座，还有一座始建于宋代的林妙娘祠，列为县级文物保护单位。陈氏祖厅内设有纪念1933年南埕盐工革命斗争的内容，村中也立有盐工纪念碑。[1]

历史人物[edit]

宋代的林延安被奉为南埕林氏的肇基始祖，宋太宗端拱二年（989年）授朝奉大夫、徽州郡守。他的儿子林特官至刑部尚书。林特的孙女林贞是宋神宗的贤妃，生育了燕王赵俣、越王赵偲，另有刑国公主。清乾隆年间，陈应腾被钦赐为举人。[1]

经济[edit]

以农业为主，主要种植稻谷和蔬菜；兼营养殖，主产蛏和弹涂鱼；水果有橘子和葡萄，林业以松木为主。[1][2]
