雷东村是漳湾镇下辖的行政村，村委会驻地在镇北约6千米处，是一个畲族村，村落分为上雷东、下雷东两段。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1957年曾设畲族乡。1958年组建生产大队，1984年改设村委会。[1]

人口与村落[edit]

辖区内共有5个自然村，其中包括上雷东、下雷东、大号、田螺和大洋。全村15个村民小组，有260户、1098人，其中常住1067人。本村籍大学文化以上者16人。[1][2]
