仓西村是漳湾镇下辖的行政村，村委会驻地在镇西北约2.7千米处，西陂塘东侧，毗邻东侨工业开发区。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年组建生产大队，1984年改设村委会。[1]

村落与人口[edit]

村下辖下仓、留屿、西岐、熨斗、澳里五个自然村，全村13个村民小组，共460户、2000人。村中本村籍人口里，大学文化以上者44人，其中硕士研究生3人。[1][2]

经济[edit]

以农业为主，主要种植稻谷、茉莉和蔬菜，水产养殖以蛏为主，水果则有龙眼。村中曾出产熨斗蟹，肉实味鲜，现已绝灭。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中的大明堂寺位于东岩峰下，该寺建于北宋，时在公元1110年，后于2002年重修。村内另有祖厅两座、祠堂一座、宫三座、古井两口，并有两棵五百年的古榕树。[1]

历史人物[edit]

宋哲宗元祐四年（1089年），林圭以筑堤挡水的办法，成功围垦西陂塘，开出田地740顷。此外，村中历史上还出过南宋进士林域、林恃，明代进士陈骝华、胜辰、林和，以及清代进士林岁。[1]
