继光社区是福建省宁德市蕉城区蕉北街道下辖的社区，所在地段是城区的政治、经济与文化中心，西侧与培英社区相接。[1][2]

社区原称衙前街，后名凤池保；1943年改称继光保，为纪念抗倭名将戚继光而得名。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

嘉靖四十一年（即1562年），戚继光带兵到宁德一带，为征剿盘踞在漳湾横屿岛的倭寇，在凤池保设立了帅府。[1][2]

1950年改设继光街道，此后为大队，1984年定名继光村，2003年4月5日改为继光社区居民委员会。[2]

上世纪八十年代初，村委会以农民集资的方式建成戚继光公园。[2]

白鹤岭福温古道的一段位于社区范围内。[3]
