蕉南街道是福建省宁德市蕉城区下辖的街道，位于蕉城区南部，西面紧邻南漈山风景区，东边与东侨经济开发区和漳湾镇接壤，南至富春路与城南镇为界，北面以八一五路与蕉北街道相邻。[1][3]

街道办事处驻闽东西路18号。截至2020年6月，辖13个社区，维基百科所列为11个。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，今街道一带属蕉城公社；1984年划归蕉城镇；1991年5月，由蕉城镇改制组建蕉南街道。[1][2]

1997年前后，辖区设六个村委会和三个居委会，其中鹏程、南漈、海滨为居委会，其余村委会的名称多与今日的社区相同。[2]

2006年4月30日，海鹏居委会撤销，分设海滨、鹏程两个社区；同日，务本社区撤销，分设中南、桥头下、小场三个社区。[4][5][6]

地理环境[edit]

104国道穿过街道辖区。百度百科载辖区面积5平方千米，博雅地名网载约7.8平方千米，两者不一。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

宁德天后宫俗称妈祖庙，位于福山路，始建于清乾隆二十七年（1762年），1851年改建大殿。1937年8月，此处曾作为国共两党地方代表的谈判地点。1980年列为县级文物保护单位，2009年列为福建省文物保护单位，偏殿现为蕉城区博物馆展厅。[7][8]

南漈山风景区又称南际山，位于南际花园社区一带，南际花园社区的名称即来自这处风景区。南漈山最早开发于宋代，山上以飞泉寺、龙湫寺与南峰寺为中心。[2][9]
