赤坂场村在灵地乡东北部，离乡政府14公里，包括锦堂、前坪、横坑、赤坂场四处自然村，总人口692人。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据说早年蔡姓来此开辟定居，因地势平坦，先称“蔡坂洋”，之后经方言读音演变为今名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年初期属新桥镇。1950年至1952年属第六区（新桥）吾祠乡，一度划属凤山乡。1958年组建大队，归建峰公社管辖，次年转入新桥公社；1961年划入灵地公社。1984年政社分设，属灵地乡。[1]

人口与土地[edit]

土地总面积13622亩，林地12137亩，生态公益林4350亩，耕地720亩，以种植水稻为主。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年初，本村获评2020年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」；2024年初，又获评2023年度同名称号。同年5月，本村被命名为「漳平市民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
