谢畲村在灵地乡南面，离乡政府约2公里，辖有上洋、下洋、陈明坑、枫林隔四个自然村，总人口1209人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年初期属新桥镇。1950年至1952年属第六区（新桥）的谢畲乡。1958年组建大队，归建峰公社管辖，次年转入新桥公社。1961年划入灵地公社，并设上洋、下洋两处大队；1974年两者重新合为一个。1984年政社分设，属灵地乡。[1]
