吾祠村位于漳平市北部的吾祠乡，是乡政府的驻地所在，属于乡中心区。村域内共有五处自然村落，即上吾祠、下吾祠、后隔洋、前村洋与山丰。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是元代卢氏由龙岩迁入此地，子孙分散到上吾祠、下吾祠、后隔洋、前村洋、山丰五处开垦定居，当地称「五畲」，后因方言中「畲」「祠」同音，写作「五祠」，并沿用为村名。[1]

1934年称吾祠保。1949年初为新桥镇下的吾祠村。1958年称吾祠大队，归建峰公社；1961年又设吾祠公社，本村划归其下；1984年政社分开后称吾祠村，隶属吾祠乡。[1][3]

文化[edit]

2020年2月，吾祠村入选「福建省第三批省级传统村落」名单。[1][2]

2020年12月，吾祠村入选「2020年福建省森林村庄」名单。2021年11月，省爱卫办授予吾祠村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。2022年10月，经福建省农业农村厅认定，吾祠村成为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

2024年1月，吾祠村被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
