官东村位于乡境东部，乡政府就设在本村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

地名的来历：此地土地肥沃，芦苇长得密，当地方言称芦苇为“官芒”；古时把芦苇地开垦成田，合称为“菅田”，后来写作“官田”。民国时期废里社设保甲，以一条白溪为界，溪东一片称官东，本村位于东侧，故以此为名。[2]

1934年，此地归第二区（永福）官田联保，设为官东保，1940年以后成为官田乡的官东保。1949年初属官田乡，后改区。1950年至1952年，此地为官田区（第四区）的一个乡。1956年撤区后并入永福区（第三区），此后归永福督导片管辖，1958年划入官田公社，成为其中的官东大队。1984年体制改革后，改称官田乡官东村。[3]

地理环境[edit]

村庄所在的地方即乡政府驻地。博雅地名网称该处海拔为600米，但2010年漳平地貌的记载为320米，两说不一，此处以地貌记载为准。[1][4]

经济[edit]

村里以农业为主，茶、竹、花、果并举，村内大量种植高山铁观音。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年1月，村庄获评2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区），此后于2023年1月、2024年1月又先后获评2022年度、2023年度的同类称号。省爱卫办另于2021年11月确认本村为2021年福建省卫生村。[1]
