梅营村位于乡境西北的山区，离乡政府约13公里，属革命基点村和重点老区村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：早先有梅姓人来此开垦，村中群山耸立，岩石凸起，于是叫“梅岩”；梅姓此后人丁凋零，陈、傅两姓自永福迁来买山置田，口音相近，演变成今名。[2]

民国初年此地属第二区（永福）的官田联保，称梅山保，1940年后列为官田乡的鲍梅保。1949年前后归官田乡管辖，之后曾隶属官田区（第四区）下的一个乡。1984年体制改革后，此地改称官田乡梅营村。[3]

1935年，红八团政委邱织云在割岭山一带的一场战斗中牺牲，乡人在此修建了烈士陵园。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村庄位于官田乡西北部的偏远山区，离乡政府约13公里，距漳平市区约60公里。[1]2010年漳平地貌所载，梅营村海拔为698米。[4]

经济[edit]

村民收入以毛竹、造土纸、花卉、茶叶和外出经商务工为主。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2017年，本村获命名为「中央红军村」。[5]2019年12月，本村列入国家林业和草原局公布的第二批国家森林乡村。同年2021年11月，省爱卫办确认本村为2021年福建省卫生村。2024年1月，本村获评「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」，此前一年的2023年1月，则获评2022年度的同类称号。[1]
