党口村位于南洋镇境内，全村面积约14平方公里，博雅地名网将其归入镇乡结合区。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村庄始建于明清时期。据说明代陈氏兄弟二人由和平乡迁入，一人住坑口，一人住坑内。长兄的宅院位于坑口，取名「董口」，有管理坑口的意思；此后「董」「党」方言同音，遂成今名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1934年，此地编入保甲，属第一区党口联保，称党口保；1949年初属党泰乡，称党口村。1958年属党泰公社，称党口大队；1961年析设南洋公社。[2]
1984年起属南洋乡，村名为党口村；2013年9月南洋撤乡改为镇，村仍属之。[2]
文化[edit]
2021年11月，党口村获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2023年1月，被命名为「龙岩市2022年度平安村居（社区）」。[1]
