红林村在南洋镇境内，全村面积约18平方公里，以山地和茶园为主。[2]

地名由来[edit]

村名取「红科」与「枫林」两个地名的首尾字拼合而成。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村域多山，山地面积约2.6万亩，另有茶园与油茶林，村内划有生态公益林。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年，此地属第一区南洋联保。1961年，此地改设南洋公社下的红林大队；1984年起属南洋乡，称红林村。2013年9月，南洋撤乡改为镇，村仍属之。[2]

文化[edit]

镇政府网站载，村内有瑶坑千年桂花王，位于红林村瑶坑。[1]

2024年1月，红林村被命名为「龙岩市2023年度平安村居（社区）」；2024年5月，被命名为「漳平市民主法治示范村（社区）」；2026年1月，被确定为「福建省2026年度乡村振兴示范村」。[2]
