地名由来[edit]
村子最早是邓姓人家来此定居，因村子地处江畔，当地方言称这类地方为「坂」，故取名「邓坂」。后因水灾，邓姓迁走，别姓迁入，读音改作「丁坂」，也称「珍坂」，寄寓人丁兴旺、珍贵发达之意。[1]
此后村中人多有科举中式的，雅称「登榜」，但村民至今仍称丁坂。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1934年，村子属第一区丁坂联保，之后先后隶属登泰乡、党泰乡。1949年初称登前村，仍属党泰乡。[1]
1950至1952年后为党泰区丁坂乡，后并入西登乡。1958年改称丁坂大队，其后的公社隶属有过几次变动。[1]
1961年村内一度分成丁坂头、丁坂尾两个大队，1964年又并回一个丁坂大队。1984年村子改隶西园乡，村名定为丁坂村。撤乡建镇发生在2013年9月30日，此后村子仍归西园镇管辖。[1]
荣誉与文化[edit]
2021年6月，丁坂村被列入福建省第四批省级传统村落名单。[1][2]
村中有龙舟队，曾在1989年和1991年的龙舟比赛中取得名次，详见西园镇条目。[1]
