遂林村在西园镇东北部，位于九龙江北溪上游。村子地名的来历与旧时林木有关，后因方言谐音而定名。[1][2]

村子于2025年列入福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村名单，村党支部在2024年获评龙岩市先进基层党支部。[1][4]

地名由来[edit]

明清时代建村。旧时村子一带盛产柴薪，原名「柴林坂」，俗称「三林坂」；后柴林被砍尽，雅称改作「瑞林坂」。「瑞」「遂」二字方言同音，于是演变为今名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年初，此地属党泰乡。1950至1952年后划归党泰区，1960年改属城郊公社。[1]

1979年分出遂林大队，行政上仍归西园公社。1984年村改属西园乡，村名定为遂林村。撤乡建镇发生在2013年9月30日，此后村子归西园镇管辖。[1]

文化与古建筑[edit]

村内有清代建筑燕怡堂、期颐堂、满福堂、福德堂4处，已列入漳平市第六批历史建筑名单。该名单于2024年10月由市政府公告。[3]

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予遂林村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

2022年，村子入选福建省乡村振兴实绩突出村；同年十月，经福建省农业农村厅认定，村子列入第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇。[1][4]

2024年5月，村子获漳平市民主法治示范村（社区）的命名；2024年6月，又被认定为2024年漳平市「一村一品」专业村，主产蔬菜。[1]

2025年3月，遂林村列入福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村名单。[1]
