历史沿革[edit]
1949年初，此地属党泰乡。1950至1952年后划归党泰区，其间曾一度析出，另设卓宅乡。[1]
1956年并入基进乡。1958年改设卓宅大队，其后归属过若干个公社。[1]
1984年属西园乡，村名定为卓宅村。撤乡建镇发生在2013年9月30日，此后村子仍归西园镇。[1]
地名由来[edit]
此村早年俗称「躲宅」，当地方言读作「倒宅」，又有雅称「福宅」，其后才定为现名。[1]
荣誉[edit]
福建省爱卫办于2021年11月把「2021年福建省卫生村」的称号授予卓宅村。[1]
2021年1月，村子获龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」的命名，所属年度为2020年度。[1]
百度百科另记，该村在2015年与2017年都曾获龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」荣誉。[2]
