石寮村是赤水镇的行政村，城乡分类属村庄，明清时期建村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村子建于明清时期。传说最早到此开辟居所的人，就地用木石垒成小屋，小屋称「寮」，村名因此得来。[1]
1934年，村地属宁洋县第三区罗溪联保。1949年后属宁洋县第三区，1955年转入第四区。1956年宁洋县撤销，村地划归漳平县，列于双洋区。1958年隶东风公社，1961年赤水公社设石寮大队。1984年改为赤水乡石寮村，1995年赤水撤乡建镇，村仍隶属之。[1]
2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予本村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
