黄山村位于赤水镇南部，辖有3个自然村和4个生产小组。全村土地面积二万八千余亩，其中耕地六百余亩，林地一万七千余亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名原作「横山」。明末有黄姓人家迁来定居，繁衍成村，全村都姓黄，取名「黄山头」，后简称黄山。[1]

1934年，村地属宁洋县第三区罗溪联保。1949年后归宁洋县第三区管辖，1955年转入第四区。1956年宁洋县撤销，村地划入漳平县，列为双洋区安坑乡的一部分。1958年隶东风公社，1961年赤水公社设黄山大队，1971年再度设立黄山大队。1984年改为赤水乡黄山村，1995年赤水撤乡建镇，村仍隶属之。[1][2]
