安坑村位于赤水镇南部，离镇政府约7公里。村辖区面积约10平方千米，有林地11928亩、耕地1198亩，设5个生产小组，并有1个自然村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
古时村中森林茂密、林荫幽暗，村名曾作「暗坑」，后用方言谐音改为雅称今名。[1]
1934年，村地属宁洋县第三区罗溪联保。1949年后隶安坑乡，1955年转入第四区。1956年宁洋县撤销，村地归漳平县，属双洋区安坑乡。1958年东风公社成立后设安坑大队，1961年划入赤水公社。1984年政社分开，村名改为赤水乡安坑村。1995年赤水撤乡建镇，村仍隶属之。[1]
