象湖镇是福建省龙岩市漳平市下辖的镇，位于漳平市东部，与永春、安溪、大田三县的乡镇接壤。全镇辖13个行政村，其中龙门、科山两村为少数民族村。[1]

镇域属亚热带气候，溪南溪（感化溪）中游流经境内，国道235线贯穿全境。镇政府驻象湖圩，这里也是镇中心的集市。[1][6]

历史沿革[edit]

西晋太康三年（公元282年），此地隶属晋安郡新罗县苦草镇的九龙乡，当时属于感化里的范围。南朝梁武帝天监年间改属南安郡；唐开元二十四年（公元736年）改属新罗县，天宝元年（公元742年）新罗县改称龙岩县，此地仍是龙岩县九龙乡的辖地。[1]

明、清时期此地属感化里。民国时期这里是溪南（第三）区下的象湖联保，1940年设象南乡，1943年归溪南镇。1951年建象湖乡，1958年起隶溪南公社，1961年自溪南公社分出，设置象湖公社；1984年改设象湖乡，1995年撤乡建镇。[2]

“象湖”之名有两种说法：一说村东有山形似象，山下聚落如湖；一说古时此地是一片深不可测的薮泽，一头象奔过便沉没不起，故名。[2]

2014年9月，环境保护部授予象湖镇「2012年—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号；2023年1月，象湖镇被确定为2022年度龙岩市「平安乡镇（街道）」。[2]

地理环境[edit]

镇域位于火山岩地带，全镇面积170平方千米。据镇政府网站，境内矿产有金、银、铜、铁、钼，以及煤炭、石灰石、铅锌矿等二十多种；已查明的石灰石资源约8000万吨，其中碳酸钙含量超过52%。[1]

镇域属亚热带，年平均气温19.4℃，全年无霜期约336天，年降雨量在1700至2000毫米之间。森林覆盖率据镇政府网站为82%。[1]

人口民族[edit]

据镇政府网站，全镇辖81个村民小组，户籍人口1.09万人；另有常住人口0.65万人。龙门村、科山村为少数民族村。[1]

经济[edit]

作物以食用菌、毛竹、杂果较多；养殖方面，狮头鹅与南美对虾已有一定规模。本土品牌有「象湖人家」「云中山」「长塔溪鳖」「戴云山黑羊」等。[1]

象湖圩逢农历五、十赶圩，周边县镇与本镇各村的村民在此买卖农副产品。[6]

名胜古迹[edit]

奇和洞遗址位于灶头村，2008年第三次全国文物普查时发现。遗址的年代跨越旧石器时代到新石器时代，遗物有人骨、石器、陶器等。2013年3月5日，国务院将其公布为第七批全国重点文物保护单位。[3]

杨美村荣福堂一带是漳平象湖红色革命旧址群的所在地，其中有「朱德率红四军出击闽中纪念馆」（荣福堂）、「红四军前敌委员会旧址」（达道堂）等，旧址群为国家3A级旅游景区。[4]

1929年8月20日，朱德率领的红四军途经杨美村，红军在荣福堂左侧的辅厝取米二十六斤，留下大洋二元，并托人转交物主，又在墙上写下留言，今称杨美红军留言墙。该墙所在的荣福堂为清代土木结构建筑，2018年9月列入福建省第九批省级文物保护单位。[5]

镇境内还有「宝台岩森林公园」，另有「关帝庙」「家训走廊」「滨河步道」「洋湖公园」等人文景观。土坑村、下德安村是中国传统村落。[1]
