梧地村的村名与两样景物有关：村里一座小山形似卧牛，溪边一块石头像猪，俗称「牛猪」。后以方言谐音雅化为「吾地」，再写作今名。村子是拱桥镇离漳平市区最近的村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年本村属龙岩县苏坂公社，称梧和大队。1961年7月改划漳平县，编入拱桥公社，改名梧地大队。1984年起用梧地村之名，归拱桥乡；1995年3月乡改镇，隶属依旧。村子是重点老区村。[1]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予梧地村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2025年5月，认定为「2025年漳平市一村一品专业村」（鲜切花）。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村庄地势开阔平坦，新安溪穿村而过。全村林地1.1万亩，生态公益林为5724亩；耕地707亩。村中的桥头是省控断面取水点。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

村子分作溪东与溪西两个自然村。截至2012年，住户248户，共885人。[1]

文化[edit]

解放前，本村是漳平市三大陶瓷村之一，制陶历史悠久，陶器俗称「牛彘瓷」。[1]
