隔顶村位于拱桥镇东北部，海拔约780米。村名由来与烧石灰有关：清代有人到此烧制石灰，屋子建在靠近山口的地方，方言称山口为「隔」，故称「隔顶厝」；「顶」指山名南畬头。后来简称为隔顶。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1942年这里划归漳平县，属新安乡，后又归永福镇。1950年至1952年后隶属党泰区，其后析立隔顶乡。1961年起归拱桥公社。1965年从中分出隔顶大队。1984年以「隔顶村」之名隶属拱桥乡。1995年3月乡改镇，隶属未变。[1]
2021年1月，被命名为「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2023年1月，被命名为「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2024年1月，被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
地理环境[edit]
全村土地面积13平方千米，耕地501亩，山地12134亩。村子距漳平市区20公里。[1]
经济[edit]
村内石灰石、煤炭资源丰富，有石灰石企业1家，是华润水泥石灰石主采区；另有煤灰企业1家、石墨矿企业1家。村里盛产毛竹、杉木和油茶。[1]
