历史沿革[edit]
1950年至1952年间析立下堺乡。1979年单独设立下界大队。1995年3月拱桥撤乡设镇，村子仍属拱桥镇。[1]
近年荣誉：2012年，村子被评为漳平市十大新农村建设示范点之一。福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予下界村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。2026年1月，被确定为「福建省2026年度乡村振兴示范村」。[1]

地理环境[edit]
全村土地面积14平方千米，耕地765亩，山地1.3万亩。村内有九龙璧等自然景观，龙孝岩漂流也在境内。[1][2][3]
经济[edit]
村子以金花茶、毛竹和绿化苗木为主要产业，是拱桥镇的生态农业示范村。辖区内有一家煤矿企业。[1][2]
名胜古迹[edit]
龙孝岩漂流以亲子与孝道为主题，漂流全程约7公里，落差105米。[3]辖区内还保存着一处「抗日讨蒋军」革命标语，以及余庆堂等清代古厝。[2]
