小潭村位于溪南镇南部，是溪南镇的南大门，距漳平市区约18公里。[1]

村中涧水在拐弯处积成一个小潭，村因此得名。旧时曾雅称「碧潭」。[1]
概况[edit]
全村分为上、下两个自然村，下设10个村民小组，总人口1448人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1934年称碧潭保，最初隶溪南（第三）区，中间经上坂联保、溪坂乡，后归溪南镇。[1] 1949年初为溪南镇的碧潭村，1950年代初属第五区小潭乡，随后并入上坂乡。1958年为小潭大队，归溪南公社；1961年改归上坂公社；1964年回并溪南公社。1984年政社分开后称小潭村，隶溪南乡；1989年撤乡改镇，仍属溪南镇。[1]
