前坪村是溪南镇的行政村。村名由村前一片较为平坦的山地得来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年此地属吾坪保，最初隶溪南（第三）区，中间经上坂联保、溪坂乡，后为溪南镇所辖。[1] 1949年初为溪南镇的前坪村，1950年代初属第五区上坂乡，后归吾老乡。1958年为前坪大队，归溪南公社；1961年改归上坂公社；1964年回并溪南公社。1984年政社分开后称前坪村，隶溪南乡；1989年撤乡改镇，仍属溪南镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2024年1月，被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
  • 2021年1月，被命名为「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
