佳山村位于永福镇境内，村名经“许家坊”“许佳山”等沿革而来[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
明清时代建村。传说当地早有许氏开辟定居，初名“许家坊”；因境内山水秀丽可佳，改称“许佳山”。“许”“可”方言近音，又写作“可佳山”，后简称今名[1]。
1934年此地属鲍梅保，最初隶第二区官田联保，后归官田乡。1949年初仍属官田乡所辖；1950年至1952年属第四区梅营乡；1956年并入永福区，设佳山乡，后并入福里镇。公社化后设佳山大队，属永福公社；1984年改为佳山村，隶永福乡，1987年随永福改镇[1]。

2020年2月，佳山村入选「福建省第三批省级传统村落」名单[1]。
